Celebrating 75 Years of India’s Independence, the International Conclave was held from 21–23 September 2022 at the UK Parliament and Brent Civic Centre, commemorating India’s remarkable journey. Conceptualised by Mr. Nachiket Joshi, Founder, World Leadership Forum, the event brought together eminent political leaders, industry stalwarts, and distinguished members of society to explore the growing Indo-British partnership and avenues for collaboration in trade, development, and sustainability. The discussions highlighted the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and AatmaNirbhar Bharat’s five pillars, underscoring India’s vision for self-reliance and global cooperation.
The highlight of the Conclave was the prestigious Global Gandhi Awards, hosted in the Members’ Room at the UK Parliament. The Gala Dinner, graciously hosted by Hon. MP Virendra Sharma, Chair of the Indo-British All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG), welcomed dignitaries and global leaders including Lord Rami Ranger and Mr. Vijay Goel, Founder of the Indo-European Business Forum. Special appreciation was extended to Shri Dipsinh Rathod, MP (Sabarkantha); Capt. Vikas Gupta, Chairman, UP Council of Agricultural Research; Ms. Chitra Tripathi, leading Indian journalist; and other distinguished delegates from India and the UK. The event was supported by numerous organisations from the UK and across the world, reflecting the spirit of global collaboration and shared progress between India and the international community.
